Dana Driscoll – Learn more about edible and medicinal plants growing in our region. Dana will cover 18-25 plants and trees that grow at Blue
Spruce and discuss their edible and medicinal uses in this interactive presentation. Participants will walk the grounds at Blue Spruce and learn how to identify edible and medicinal plants: where and how they grow, how they can be ethically harvested, and how to prepare them. We will also cover wild food foraging safety, ethics, and considerations. Plants typically covered on this walk include Elderberry,
Plantain, Willow, Hawthorn, Monarda/Bee Balm, Blue Spruce, and many more.
