Light-Up Night – Blairsville

This community wide event includes a craft show, cookie walk, parade and light up night events at the Bandstand.
What’s happening at the diamond on Light Up Night? After all the parade participants have arrived at the diamond
Blairsville mayor, Ron Evanko will welcome everyone. River Valleys homecoming queen-Amy Wang will use her magic and light the tree
Santa will listen to each child tell him what is on their list and get a small treat. There will be a food tent with free hot dogs and hot chocolate
S&T Bank will have all the fixings for making s’mores. There will be fire barrels there to make the s’mores and to keep us warm
InFirst Bank will have popcorn for everyone. Independent Baptist Church will have crafts for the kids to do. And our favorite face painter will be there
- Luminaries for Sale – Luminaries will be lit and the names of loved ones will be displayed on a scroll as a symbol of tribute. For forms please visit the BCDA office on 130 W. Market St. Blairsville or call 724 459-8588
- Diamond Dolls Twirling Competitive Teams and Solos Christmas Preview Show. Free to the public. 3PM at The Blairsville Armory.
- Brass Band Performance – The brass section of the Blairsville Community Band will be playing for the town from 4:30pm-5:30pm at the Diamond
- Light Up Night Parade – Santa will be there, and can’t wait to meet everyone! The parade will begin at 5pm at Tractor Supply and end at the Diamond. Please contact Connie Constantino at 724 388-9788 or email her at cic2201@verizon.net if interested in participating.
- The Annual Cookie Walk – from 11am-2pm starting and ending at the BCDA office. Walkers will receive a list with each business that is participating and a cookie box at the BCDA. The walkers will go to each of the businesses and collect a cookie.
