Join Conemaugh Valley Conservancy (CVC) in our mission to protect and restore the health and beauty of the Kiski-Conemaugh River Valley and to strengthen the connection between the land and it's people. With your help, we're breathing new life into forgotten railroads and neglected streams and rivers throughout South Western Pennsylvania. West Penn Trail offers 15 miles of biking and hiking between two of Indiana County's unique historic towns, Saltsburg and Blairsville. An annual boat-bike-run West Penn Trail Triathlon is held in October. The Conservancy operates the annual Stony-Kiski-Conemaugh Rivers Sojourn, 4 days of paddling on the Kiski-Conemaugh Water Trail, from Johnstown to Apollo. CVC also hosts quarterly outings that showcase historic, scenic, and recreation resources in the region.
