LEARN ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE APRIL 26TH AT BLUE SPRUCE LODGE
“What does the average person need to know about Climate Change?” Dr. Jonathon Warnock will discuss this on Friday April 26th at Blue Spruce Lodge at 7 pm. This presentation is free and open to the public.
Dr. Warnock teaches geoscience classes at IUP. He grew up in a small town near Chicago. He saw his small town swallowed up by suburban sprawl and that experience influenced his career direction. His Master’s study at University of Illinois Chicago focused on polar work which led to amazing travel to both poles. Particularity interesting was work at Svalbard north of Norway. When in Indiana Dr. Warnock is tending his garden.
This climate change discussion is sponsored by Evergreen Conservancy. Dr. Warnock will cover how climate change works and why climate is changing. Some predictions and consequences.
Program sponsor Evergreen Conservancy has a mission “To Advocate the Preservation, Protection, and Stewardship of Natural, Cultural and Historical Resources in and around Indiana County”. Again this program on April 26th at 7/6:30 at Blue Spruce Lodge is free and open to the public.
