University Band Summer Concert

The University of Band of the IUP Community Music School and IUP Department of Music will present a FREE outdoor summer band concert in the IUP Oak Grove.
The program will feature a mix of patriotic music, marches, and other popular summertime selections, to include piccolo soloist Terri Wacker on “Yankee Doodle Variations” and IUP president Michael Driscoll narrating Sam Hazo’s “Their Blossoms Down.
The group is directed by IUP music faculty member Jason Worzbyt.
In the event of rain, the concert will be at the same time but in Gorell Recital Hall, 2nd floor of Sutton Hall, IUP main campus (Sutton Hall is also adjacent to the Oak Grove).
Mark your calendars, bring a lawn chair, and enjoy a FREE good old-fashioned “Concert in the Grove!”
