Spring Tree Walk with a Forester

Chris Fatzinger – Enjoy a walk with hosts Lisa Meadows, Environmental Education Specialist for Yellow Creek State Park, and Chris Fatzinger, Service Forester for Gallitzin Forest District. The walk will be approximately 1-2 miles through forest & field. It will take 1.25 hours and will start at the North Shore Pavilion. Please join Chris as he teaches the basics of native plant and invasive plant identification, wildlife habitat strategies, timber management, and forest ecology. Please wear hiking shoes, long pants, and bring water. Bug spray is recommended. Program is weather dependent. Please check the Yellow Creek Facebook Page for updates if there are weather concerns.
