Light-Up Night – Saltsburg

Saltsburg area residents mark your calendars for the annual Saltsburg Light Up Night on Sunday, December 4th from 4 to 6:30 p.m.. The event will kick off with the SES chorus singing holiday tunes. There will be tree decorating , visits with Santa and the Grinch in Santa’s Workshop, free crafts and raffles for the kids in the Lions building, costume characters will be strolling the canal, free cookies and hot chocolate, the Saltsburg Senior Center will be selling hot foods such as hot dogs, soup and more for only $1 each. There will be Christmas music playing all night long and if the weather is cooperative there will be local crafters selling their wares. At 6:45 there will be a luminary ceremony down at the River’s Edge stage to remember those who have passed. If you would like to purchase a luminary in memory of a loved one they are $5 each. This includes a bulb on the memorial Tree on The River’s Edge stage that will stay up all season. For more information, please call 724-840-0167
