Ladies Night Out: Steam Spectacular

Calling all ladies who love learning and adventure! Take the night off and discover the various creatures that call our local stream home. From aquatic insects to crayfish, we’ll learn not only how to identify them, but also about the valuable information their presence (or absence) can provide.
After a short discussion, we’ll head out to the stream with our nets and other gear to collect and observe our findings up close! This program is for women ages 16 & over. We’ll have other stream programs for families later in the season. Meet by Lakeview Pavilion in the Day Use Area. Wear old shoes in the stream and bring a dry pair for after. Weather dependent.
Driving Directions from Park Office, 170 Rt 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA. Drive past the park office on Rt 259 past South Boat Launch. Turn right into Day Use Area. Go over small bridge, take 1st right, park by Lakeview Pavilion.
