IAA Displays Artwork by Sarah Carr at Indiana Library
April 8 - May 30
The Indiana Art Association (IAA) is currently featuring oil paintings by local artist and IAA member Sarah Carr on their display wall at the Indiana Free Library.
Entitled A Walk on the Wild Side, Carr’s exhibit will be up until the end of May. Carr has an affinity for jungle scenes, mountains and images from the sea. She particularly enjoys the challenge of portraying glimpses of nature and exotic landscapes encased in golden light. Her nature scenes, originally inspired by her African Gray parrot Maya, often revisit places she has traveled, including Santorini Island, Greece and Cairo, Egypt.
