Fall Tree Walk
October 19 @ 10:00 am
Mike Tyree – Join Friends of the Parks for a guided Tree Walk at Yellow Creek State Park to see the beautiful color of Indiana County. Pennsylvania is considered to be one of the premier places to see fall colors at their peak. Dr. Tyree will guide park visitors on a moderately challenging, hilly hike on Ridgetop Trail for approximately two miles. Please wear long pants and hiking shoes. Dress for the weather. Bring water and light snack. This program is weather dependent. We will meet at Lakeview Pavilion in the Day Use Area. Please watch the Yellow Creek State Park – DCNR Facebook page if the weather is questionable for the latest updates.
