Explore Under the Water: See What Lives in the Lake

September 2, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Have you ever wanted to try snorkeling from a Paddleboard?  Are you curious about what lives below the water in Yellow Creek Lake?  Join us for a brand “new” program to learn all about what lives in Yellow Creek Lake.  This program is for experienced Paddleboarders only, age 18 & up.

We will be using paddleboards to get out to the viewing areas on the lake & use snorkel masks in the lake. We’ll stay on the paddleboard while exploring what lives below the surface including plants, fish, and other creatures. You must be comfortable wearing a mask, putting your face in your water, and a good swimmer.  Bring your own paddleboard with current launch permit or rent one from boat rental for $10/hr.  Preregistration required. http://eventsreg.dcnr.pa.gov/register/create/43916351235284
