Electrofishing at Yellow Creek

Electrofishing at Yellow Creek — Dave Janetski Join IUP’s David Janetski to learn about Yellow Creek’s local fish populations, common fish sampling methods, and help electroshock live fish! Electroshocking is a safe and effective way to survey fish populations and learn about stream health. All ages welcome, but only individuals ages 12 and up can help with electrofishing. Please bring your own waders if you have them. If you would like to help electrofish and need waders, please note your shoe size at registration. This program requires pre-registration by emailing Lisa Meadows at limeadows@pa.gov with name, phone, email, and number in group by 9/30/2021. ** ** All Yellow Creek State Park programs will comply with COVID regulations and space will be limited at all programs due to these regulations.
