Composting Workshop

At Chevy Chase Food Forest – Come learn about the basics of composting and how to build a compost pile during this workshop. Tour the garden’s composting facilities, learn about the tools that are used, and how you can participate in the garden’s efforts to feed the soil and keep food waste out of the landfill. Get your questions answered about the difference between compostable and biodegradable products and why the garden can’t accept them.
