Buffalo Rose with Guests Rivers

Buffalo Rose is a charismatic six-piece modern folk/Americana band from Pittsburgh, PA. They take the singer-songwriter tradition to a new level by crafting original songs which are emotive, meticulously arranged, and inspired by a world of idiosyncratic influences that never let a dull or predictable moment creep in.
They make their return to Indiana after headlining 2022’s Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, and we’re excited to host such a wonderful and energetic group!

Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with just simple acoustic instruments, the power trio of Rivers amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. Made up of Joe Schaefer (bass), Matthew Sinkovitz (percussion), and Vincent Yarnell (guitar and banjo), they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers’ style is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for more.
