2022 West Penn Trail Triathlon

Celebrate your competitive spirit in a race like no other! The 2022 West Penn Trail Triathlon takes place in Historic Saltsburg, PA this October!
This great race begins with a 7-mile paddle on the Conemaugh River, followed by a 15-mile cycling leg over varying grades and terrain, and finishes off with a true 5K on the West Penn Trail.
Compete solo or in teams of two to three individuals. The race is chip-timed, with staging areas between each leg. Boat rentals are available through local liveries.
All proceeds benefit the West Penn Trail Maintenance Fund. The West Penn Trail is a scenic, 17-mile rail trail between Blairsville and Saltsburg, PA – and is maintained entirely by volunteers. The trail offers river vistas, views of the former PA Mainline Canal, and crosses over four, historic stone-arch bridges (c.1907). Additionally, Saltsburg also offers access to 9 miles of the Westmoreland Heritage Trail to Delmont, PA.
