Spring Tree Hike with a Forester — Calvin Norman

Join us for a hike with our local Penn State Cooperative Extension Forestry Educator. Late spring is a great time to view our trees coming into their full beauty. The forester will help you to identify certain trees, native bushes, and invasive species, as well as answer any questions. This hike will be approximately 2-3 miles in length on moderately hilly terrain. Please wear hiking shoes, long pants, and bring water. This hike will be geared for
adults, teens, and kids, ages 8 and up. Meet next to Lakeview Pavilion in Day Use Area.

Pre-registration is required and will begin in April/May 2021 by emailing Lisa Meadows at limeadows@pa.gov with your name, phone, email and number in your group or register on the DCNR Events Page. Pre-register by 5/20/2021.**

** All Yellow Creek State Park programs will comply with
