"Super Suppers", picnics, parties & other fun events are held throughout the year. We also do fundraising events to generate funds for special projects.

Learn all about the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly. In addition, we will also learn about monarch tagging to track their movements through migration, as well as how to help monarchs by planting late season nectar plants (beyond the typical milkweed).
This program will require pre-registration starting in Aug/Sept 2021 by emailing Lisa Meadows with name, phone, email, and group size (limit to 5) at limeadows@pa.gov or through the DCNR Events page. This program is best suited for adults, teens, and school age kids, age 7 & up. Please pre-register by 9/23/2021.**

Monday evenings this center offers a home-cooked meal, along with activities for those who might not be able to attend during daytime hours. Dinner is served at 5:30 pm, and a reservation in advance is needed so we may know how many to prepare for.
Some of the other services offered are Fitness Class, Wii Games, Crafts, Bingo, Cards, Trips, Billiards, Open Painting Club, Parties, Musical Entertainment, Blood Pressure Screenings, Internet Ready Computers, Open Acoustic Jam Sessions, and various Volunteer opportunities.
Transportation is available to and from each center through Indigo (724-465-2140). We offer scheduled shopping trips and provide transportation to medical/therapy appointments.
