1 - InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon, Half Marathon & Marathon RelayThe 9th Annual InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay races will be held on the beautiful Ghost Town Trail near Indiana, Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 1, 2020. The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier. All proceeds from the race go to support veterans in Western Pennsylvania through the Western Pennsylvania Veteran's Relief Fund, a 501c3. Monies from the race will be used to support the needs of veterans in our communities.

- CANCELLED - Wine Walk - Downtown Indiana, , The Wine Walk is the kick-off to the Downtown Indiana shopping season. The 2020 Wine Walk features regional wineries paired with downtown retailers. Guest enjoy wine samples & light hors d'oeuvres at each stop.The Wine Walk is also a fundraiser for Downtown Indiana, benefiting promotion and beautification of the downtown business district.
Each attendee will receive a complimentary stemless wine glass and be entered in our wine basket raffle. The evening begins with registration at The Coney and ends there with drawings for an array of gift baskets. Tickets will go on sale Sept. 1, 2020.

- Intro to Disc Golf, , , Curious about the disc golf course here at WTRC? Not sure how to play? This program will walk you through the course. It will get you started with the basics so that you will be able to take to the course yourself with confidence. Discs will be provided at the start of the program if so desired for a fee of $10 in addition to the fee of the program set at $10 as well. If you are looking for additional practice, the course opens with the park at dawn and closes with the park at dusk.

- Penn Run Christian Outreach Center Craft Show, , , , , Penn Run Christian Outreach Center Craft Show is an annual event held on the second Saturday of November. This years event runs from 9-2 on Sat. November 14th with a variation of events due to COVID 19. We will have crafters, sell our homemade beef vegetable and chicken noodle soup by the quart and pint as well as hot meals to go.

- University Museum at IUP Presents Exhibit from Permanent Collection, , , , , , , , An exhibition featuring paintings and sculpture from its permanent collection.
Items that will be shown will include the sculpture Josephine by renowned Ukrainian artist Alexander Archipenko, pottery from native American artist Maria Montoya Poveka Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo), recently restored painting Foggy Morning by local artist Louise Pershing and the painting Goodrich Silos by Frank Herbert Mason.
The exhibit is open now until Nov. 20, 2020. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings are required in all university buildings. The exhibit has been designed and installed to help promote social distancing.
The University Museum is located on the first floor of Sutton Hall and welcomes visitors during the following hours:
Tuesday through Friday: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
The Museum is closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and university holidays.

All are hopeful that for the 2021 Holiday Season exhibits can be returned to normal operations and access.

2020 Holiday Store Window Model Train Displays
Train displays will be exhibited in the store windows across from Kay Jeweler's located in the center of the Indiana Mall - November 14 to December 13, 2020.
In support of COVID-19 safe guards and current health concerns associated with spreading of the virus, there will be no physical access to the train exhibits by the public this year.
All are hopeful that for the 2021 Holiday Season exhibits can be returned to normal operations and access.

Monday evenings this center offers a home-cooked meal, along with activities for those who might not be able to attend during daytime hours. Dinner is served at 5:30 pm, and a reservation in advance is needed so we may know how many to prepare for.
Some of the other services offered are Fitness Class, Wii Games, Crafts, Bingo, Cards, Trips, Billiards, Open Painting Club, Parties, Musical Entertainment, Blood Pressure Screenings, Internet Ready Computers, Open Acoustic Jam Sessions, and various Volunteer opportunities.
Transportation is available to and from each center through Indigo (724-465-2140). We offer scheduled shopping trips and provide transportation to medical/therapy appointments.
- IFL Grab - N - Go Book Service, , , , , , , , , , , The library is serving our community through online programs and services for safety during closure on the building to patrons with a Grab N Go service for the distribution of library material only. Pick up is at the ground floor entrance to the building. We will package your pick-up, with a limit of 5 items, in labeled plastic bags on shelves inside the entrance door.
Hours for pick-ups: Monday 4 PM - 7 PM, Wednesdays 11 AM - 3 PM, Saturday 11 AM - 3 PM. NO Interlibrary Loan requests are being taken at this time.
