Grab your skis and head outdoors for some fresh air while taking a cross-country skiing adventure. Numerous trails and maps are available to help plan your route.

Registered snowmobiles are allowed in one area (consisting of forests and open fields) that is about 350 acres in size.

See an impressive 45 foot waterfall and scenic woodland. Important Note: The natural area and stairs receive no winter maintenance so use extreme caution when visiting. Visit at your own risk.

Friends of the Parks offers an extensive series of nature programs offered in the Indiana County Parks system and at Yellow Creek State Park. WalkWorks offers a variety of events spread throughout the county. Upcoming event:
March 26, 2022 Emerald Anniversary Walk – WalkWorks event at Pine Ridge Park: Ed Patterson, Director of Indiana County Parks & Trails, will lead a tour of Pine Lodge then walk along south branch of Tom’s Run and part of Tom’s Run Trail. The walk will highlight some perspectives of the county park system’s 55 years (Emerald Anniversary). Park amenities include trout stream, pavilions, lodge, pond, disc golf and hiking/skiing trails.
