This July 4th, America250PA asks for your support as we continue developing programs, projects, and events that EDUCATE, PRESERVE, INNOVATE and CELEBRATE Pennsylvania’s rich history, culture and future.
With a contribution of $20.26, you can help support efforts like Pennsylvania Day – America250PA’s annual volunteer initiative on July 20.
For the last two years, we have partnered with Natural Food Group in support of Feeding Pennsylvania to staff food banks across the Commonwealth. Thus far, with the help of several EPIC volunteers, we have packaged over 17,000 boxes of food, prepared 958 meals, sorted over 9,000 pounds of produce & frozen food, and filled over 400 volunteer shifts. On July 20, 2023, with the additional support of The Giant Company, we’re aiming to expand this effort and continue feeding Pennsylvanians in need!
This year we are also excited to announce that we will be partnering with EQT Corporation and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in support of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful to staff community cleanup and revitalization efforts across Pennsylvania!

On July 4, 2026, America will be commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. As we celebrate Independence Day with parades, fireworks, and picnics, let us be reminded that the freedoms we hold so dear in America, began in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776, with the adoption by the Continental Congress of the Declaration of Independence.
America250PA was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate this historic milestone, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nation’s past, present, and future.
America250PA is striving to make 2026 E.P.I.C as we EDUCATE, PRESERVE, INNOVATE and CELEBRATE Pennsylvania’s rich history, culture and future. We have created impactful programming throughout the Commonwealth to engage ALL Pennsylvanians in ALL 67 counties – 11 Signature Programs and Projects to date, with more in development!
