Announcing a NEW Public Art Project: Otters of Blairsville
The Blairsville Area Underground Railroad announced a new public art project: Otters of Blairsville
In the style of the groundhogs of Punxsutawney, they are offering a first run of 10 – 2 1/2 foot tall chainsaw otters which you can customize and display. Otters will be part of an “Otter Tour of Blairsville”. This is a great way to bring visitors to the town…and to area businesses! Blairsville businesses and individuals may purchase an Otter statue for $350 each. Tips for preserving and decorating will be provided by the otter committee. This is not a fundraiser.
