"Willie in all his personal relationships is a fascinating man and often a winning man, too. What is right and what is wrong?...a stimulating inquiry into that troublesome question...?"-New York Times. This drama is a blockbuster- subtle and rich study of man in society. Influenced by the life of Huey P. Long, All the Kings Men tells of Willie Stark, a Louisiana politician who appeals to the common man by railing against the corruption of government, only to discover he is being manipulated by a cynical machine. As a portrait of politics, this drama is effective, provocative and entertaining.
